Fabulous, catered, guided white water rafting trips on this lesser known part of the Orange River offer a huge adrenalnie rush. The Gorge is renowned for its big rapids and pretty exciting white water, but you can also choose a more mellow option with only little rapids and lots of great scenery. Unlike further downstream, you do not need to cross over into Namibia for this trip so you don’t need a passport. Onseepkans is about a seven-hour drive from Cape Town.
