Every year this amazing creatures return to the beaches where they themselves hatched. If you are lucky, you may see hatchlings emerge from the eggs and make their way down towards the sea. It is estimated that only one in a thousand make it to adult hood so wish your turtles well along their journey as they scurry along the sand.
