Are you ready to hang ten on the West Coast?
A ‘hang ten’ is a surfing manoeuvre that requires you to ride with all ten toes over the nose (front) of the board. This is a very stylish, but difficult longboard move.
Most of the waves on the West Coast are left-hand point breaks. The most popular spot is Elands Bay. When the ocean swell roles in, surfers leave Cape Town early in the morning to catch some of the clean, large waves that wrap around the point.
