River Rafting or White-Water Rafting in Swaziland.
The slightly older adventurer may remember the TARDIS in the British science fiction ‘Doctor Who’ – the time travel machine, disguised as a London police box, that has an interior much larger than its exterior.
Younger adventurers might remember Harry Potter arriving at the campsite suspiciously eyeing the Weasley’s tiny tent, only to find an expansive magic home as he enters through the tent flap.
Swaziland (now Eswatini) has a similar quality. It also appears smaller on the outside and is larger on the inside. On a map, this is a pint-sized country, but when you enter, there are plenty of adventures to be had. Rugged landscapes, rushing rivers and cascading waterfalls leave you spoilt for choice.
River Rafting is one of the must-do activities. The Great Usutu River (or Maputo River) is Swaziland’s longest river and is known for its excellent White Water Rafting.
