THE BOOK

The DIRTY BOOTS adventure guide is a comprehensive guide to adventure activities in South Africa, Swaziland and Lesotho. It is a glossy, full colour annual publication in durable and handy DL size. DIRTY BOOTS is distributed extensively and free of charge to the local and international travel industry, and to adventure enthusiasts. It remains exclusive to operators who operate their own activities - no other advertisers are permitted.

DIRTY BOOTS will include all outdoor adventure activities. We currently have over 100 activities listed. Activities vary from Abseiling to Pony Trekking, Shark Cage Diving to Sea Kayaking, Paragliding to Flying. There are more than 1500 adventure companies currently operating in South Africa, Swaziland and Lesotho.Advertisments will be of a standard format broken into the following sizes Full page, Half page and Quarter Page.

The advertisments will include a photo, contact details, description and symbols. Only photos of the highest standard will be accepted, if the advertiser does not have access to good quality photos we have a gallery of over 700 pictures for him to choose from. Contact details will be in a standard format and every effort to confirm details are correct will be made. Activity description will be supplied by the operator and rewritten if necessar by our copy writer. Symbols will indicate the activities offered by the operator, how difficult the acitivity is and whether accommodation is available at the operators site. It will also be indicated if they belong to a controlling body of that adventure activity / sport.

DIRTY BOOTS adventure guide will be layed out according to region and then alphabetically according to activity. Advertisers will be listed strictly alphabetically under their respective activities. The book has three easy to use indexes: Index to advertisers, Index to activities, Index to towns.
