Maraneman on the Vaal

Maraneman on the Vaal is situated on the waterfront of the spectacular Vaaldam, within a private game farm and secure estate (approximately 115km from the south of Joburg).

We consists of two divisions namely:

1. Adventure & Teambuilding Centre

The centre specialises in teambuilding for all types of groups and is ideal for school camps, church camps, youth getaways, etc. Packages includes accommodation, delicious meals and EXCLUSIVE USE of all facilities during your stay, as we cater for one group at a time. All activities are arranged and controlled by Maraneman’s trained facilitators, ensuring the absolute safety of all guests. Individualised programmes are set up for each group depending on their objective for the visit.

Maraneman also offers exciting ADVENTURE HOLIDAY CAMPS for schoolgoers!

2. Adventure Academy Gap-Year Campus

The Academy offers a one-year (full time) programme for youngsters (ages 17-25) who want to discover who they are and what God’s purpose is for their lives, while receiving accredited training at the same time… thereby not wasting a year of their life, but enhancing their futures.

The curriculum includes accredited studies, a vast range of extreme adventure activities along with Ministry Training, Practical Outreaches and exposure to many fields of business and hospitality management (which can be utilized within the tourism industry thereafter).
