Sun City Waterworld

Waterworld Sun City is located within the beautiful Sun City resort in the North-West Province of South Africa. We operate on an artificial lake of approximately 1000 m x 500 m in a natural volcanic valley. Our operation runs throughout the year, seven days a week. Our professional and friendly staff will assist all, from novice to expert. We cater for day visitors, hotel residents and corporate teambuilding.

We offer a variety of watersports: parasailing, jet skiing, water skiing (wakeboarding, tube rides, wake snake), sailing boats, cruise boats, speed boats, pedal boats.

Cruise boat – You are invited to relax on our large cruise boat. The barge departs twice daily for a complimentary trip.

Parasailing – After a short run of approximately 10 m the parasailer is lifted into the air, to a height of 35 m.

Jet skiing – A jet ski is a jet-powered craft equivalent to a motorbike on water. It is highly manoeuvrable and thrillingly fast, but very stable.

Water skiing, wakeboarding, kneeboarding – Water skiing is an age-old classic where the rider is towed behind the boat. Wakeboarding is the latest craze. Kneeboarding is easier than wakeboarding. All of the above rides are fast and a lot of fun.
Wake snake and tubes – The above are inflatables towed behind the boat, great for adults and children and a lot of fun.

Pedal boats – For the more energetic person there are complimentary pedal boats where a group of up to four people can take a scenic pedal on the lake.

Sail boats – Why not try one of our Gypsy sailing boats? The peace and tranquillity one experiences is unforgettable.
