Elephant Back Safaris Horse Safaris Microlight Flying Walking Safaris X Factor Rating Accommodation

Kwa Madwala Private Game Reserve is a big-game conservancy situated on the south side of the Kruger National Park near Hectorspruit. The reserve is host to the Big Four, including lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and a wide variety of general game species.

On offer are some of the best combinations of safari activities and adventures available in South Africa: Microlight safaris (low-altitude safari flights), elephant-back safaris and interaction experiences, horse-back safaris, morning and evening open 4x4 game drives in the Kwa Madwala reserve and in a private Kruger concession area, half-day and full-day standard Kruger safaris, walking safaris, night drives and wilderness quad- bike trails.

Day tours in the area include Swaziland, Mozambique and the panoramic area, all of which are in close proximity.

Golf at the exclusive Leopard Creek golf course and at other good courses in the area can easily be arranged.

Three lodges are available in the reserve and offer a range of superb accommodation and excellent service at reasonable rates. These include the four-star Manyatta Rock Lodge, the three-star Kingfisher Bush Camp and the Gazebo Lodge, which is a backpacker-style safari lodge.

The operation also has a gap year and volunteer programme for youth wanting a unique experience in South Africa.

Airport transfers are available from KMIA and Oliver Tambo International Airport. We are on the Bazbus route and offer a link from Nelspruit to the reserve.
