Kruger National Park Adventure Trails - 4x4 Trails

Get off the beaten track and explore the Kruger National Park on a 4x4 Adventure Trail. The trails are not a test for your 4x4 but a great one day option for off road enthusiasts, intended to bring you into close contact with some of the parks amazing environments and its wildlife. Each trail is booked at the camp site where it starts.

You can take your pick from:

The Madlabantu (or Man-eater) trail, starting in Pretoriuskop Rest Camp and winding its way southwards and then along the Nsikasi River. This is rhino territory and before you have completed the 46 kilometres, chances are that you will also encounter the remaining Big Five.

The Managa (or Wilderness) trail starts near Satara Camp and covers 48 kilometres of knob thorn, marula savannah and grassland where you can expect herds of grazers and of course their predators.

The Nonokani (or Drive Slowly) trail starts close to the Phalaborwa Gate. This 46 kilometre trail heads south along the Olifants River.

The Northern Plains trail begins between Shingwedzi Camp and Pafuri Camp. This 49 kilometre trail will take you though mopane shrubveld and the baobabs of the sandveld.

So pack a food hamper, bring water and your camera and head off into the bush for a day of 4x4 Adventure!
