The Horizon Horseback portfolio offers fantastic, affordable horse-riding holidays and safaris in South Africa. These holidays can be enjoyed separately or combined. Nestled in the malaria free Waterberg Mountains, just 3 hours north of Johannesburg, Horizon Adventures is renowned not only for its great horses and riding, but also for its quality service and relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

Horizon Safaris is for experienced riders only, as we ride in areas with dangerous game. We have 25 well trained horses on the reserve and safaris are limited to 8 guests. Species to be seen include rhino, buffalo, giraffe, mountain and burchall’s zebra, eland, wildebeest, hippo, ostrich and over 20 species of antelope.
