Black Horse Trails

Ride beautiful horses through the indigenous forests in the Wilderness National Park.

The ranch lies at the base of the Outeniqua Mountains in the Garden Route. Our horse rides venture under the canopy of bluegums, between the endless rows of pines and into the cool damp of the mystical, indigenous forests where bird and animal life is abundant. The Knysna loerie, raptors, monkeys, baboons and bushbuck are common sights on our trails, along with more elusive bush pigs and snakes.

Established in 2008, we have plenty of experience keeping you safe and showing you a great time. We can take groups of up to seven people, regardless of riding ability.
