All Out Adventures in KwaZulu-Natal’s scenic Northern Drakensberg offers eight great adventures at one fantastic venue, central to all northern berg resorts. The centre caters for families, couples, friends on a weekend away, corporate groups, school groups and special occasions like birthdays, bull- and hen-parties and family reunions. Guests can experience the thrill of sliding at 60 kmph on 900 m of cable between 7 forested platforms on our Extreme Cable Tour, throwing triple backflips on the bungee bounce or flying on a circus trapeze. For a bigger thrill there is Africa’s highest wooden spiral staircase and a 17 m freefall on the King Swing. For those who are happier with their feet on the ground the 15 km Quad Adventure Trail is guaranteed to thrill, and the forested paintball arena makes for an exhilarating game. Mountain bikers can take advantage of 50 km of mapped and marked trails. Kids 2–12 enjoy the Kid’s Adventure Zone’s Dueling Zip Lines and Ninja Warrior Jr. Course.

The most popular activity is the Extreme Cable Tour, an aerial cable tour through the pine trees that offers some of the longest and fastest slides around (reaching speeds of up to 60 kmph on some slides). This involves a 10-minute walk to the first platform, which is built into the side of a hill. Guests then slide across the valley and land safely on the platform high in the forest canopy before they even have a chance to be nervous of heights! A guide-operated braking system ensures a smooth, safe landing on each platform, making it possible for young children to be accommodated. As a result this is an awesome activity for the whole family to do together.
