Afriski Mountain Resort
X Factor Rating Accommodation

Afriski Ski and Mountain Resort offers you and your family the kind of holiday experience that you will want to return to again and again!

The resort is located 3 222 m above sea level in the northern Maluti Mountains in Lesotho – 3 hours from Bloemfontein and approximately 5 hours from the main centres of Johannesburg and Durban.

Entering Lesotho via the Caledonspoort border post (Fouriesburg), the road from Butha-Buthe (Lesotho) to Oxbow follows the original route of the ‘Roof of Africa’ tour. The spectacular mountain pass journey, mostly at more than 3 000 m above sea level, leads you into the Maluti Mountains and on to Afriski.

Afriski has 250 beds on the resort and a multitude of accommodation styles, from backpackers to luxury chalets and we are proud of our unique ski and mountain adventure facilities at the highest resort in Africa, offering adventure activities for everyone. Choose from 4x4 routes, enduro biking and fly-fishing in summer to guaranteed snow for skiing and snowboarding in winter; photography to abseiling – not to mention a special, exciting programme of snow events during the winter 2012 season.

Check www.afriski.net or call Central Reservations on 0861 AFRISKI for more information.
