These tours takes place three times daily and offers clients the opportunity to explore Walker Bay Marine Reserve on our stable kayaks, while being informed about the marine life in our Bay by a very experienced guide.
Regular sightings of Cape Fur Seals, Marine birds and African Penguins are enjoyed on the kayak tours, while there is also the opportunity to encounter dolphins and even curious whales.
During the months of July to November the area that we paddle in becomes a Whale Sanctuary and Walkerbay Adventures holds a permit that allows us to conduct our tours in this truly unique conservation area. Our tours takes roughly 2 hours of your time, with 90 minutes spent on the water after a thorough safety briefing and check in.
You do not have to be super fit to be able to join us on a kayak tour. Anyone 10 years and older are welcome to come along. We also spend time where we can enjoy short breaks from paddling, telling you about the marine life in Walker Bay. We are passionate about the area we live, and the environment that we operate our tours in.
We would therefore love to show you Hermanus from a different perspective and offer you the opportunity to enjoy our ocean and it’s marine life while out on a sea kayak tour with Walkerbay Adventures.
