Soweto Adventures

The sprawling city-within-a-city of Soweto is most well known as the erstwhile home of Nelson Mandela and Desmond Tutu, and as a cultural destination of note.

It’s a great place to do a tour, visit art galleries, hang out in a township shebeen, listen to great music and generally have a good time. But it’s also an adventure destination of note.

You can do a bungee jump with a difference – from the cooling towers of a decommissioned power station. Rad. At a somewhat more mellow pace, you can do a cycle tour of this amazing place – combining a great cultural experience with a bit of exercise.
