Snorkelling is a popular activity, especially at tropical resort and scuba diving locations. It makes it easier to observe underwater life in a natural setting without the use of scuba equipment.


South Africa boasts with a wide variety of snorkeling locations including the Indian Ocean and the Atlantic Ocean. Both promises an experience of a lifetime. The Indian Ocean has beautiful coral reefs and a spectacular selection of reef fish whereas the Atlantic Ocean boasts with stunning kelp forests and huge crayfish. A first ever underwater snorkeling trail is also found at Storms River.
