Snorkeling takes place off Duiker Island, a short boat trip from Cape Town's Hout Bay. But, before you equate seals with great white sharks, be assured that this location is not known for shark activity as it is surrounded by cold water, kelp forests and is home to considerably fewer seals than at other colonies along the coast.

5mm wetsuits and snorkeling equipment is provided and trips are dependent on weather and ocean conditions.
