Here’s an activity I can speak about with complete confidence, as I jog on this magnificent beach every morning and watch the sunrise over the Kakapo wreck. If there is one place in the world you need to do this activity it is along Noordhoek beach also known as Longbeach. Cape Town beach horse rides are limited to this beach as it is one of the few beaches that have access to stabling close by.
Next time you are visiting Cape Town or you are a local resident looking for a special spoil this is certainly an activity you must not miss. I have booked all the people who come and visit us here by the coast on this great adventure activity and they all loved it. There is something special about riding a beautiful horse on a magnificent white sandy beach.
Herewith what one of our travel writers wrote about Horse-riding on Longbeach, Cape Town.
“A horse ride on the aptly named Long Beach is one for the bucket list. Canter along the squeaky clean white sand with the waves lapping at your horse’s hooves as the gulls wheel overhead. And then slow down and investigate the remains of the wrecked Kakapo left high and dry on the beach.”
