Welcome to the Dirty Boots Adventure GuideThe word ad-ven-ture means an unusual or exciting experience and that is exactly what we at Dirty Boots aim to give anybody who uses our adventure guide book and website.
Dirty Boots is now nearly 10 years old and we are currently busy with our 8’th guide book on adventure in South Africa, Swaziland and Lesotho. On this website and on the pages of the Dirty Boots hard copy you will find a variety of adventure activities in South Africa, including information on day-outings to multi day adventure holidays from something for the not so adventurous to the extreme adventurer.
South Africa has variety of terrains from deserts to heavily forested areas, vast plains to mountains and valleys from calm and quiet estuaries to raging rivers and with great weather all year round it is the perfect playground for the outdoor adventure traveller.
Dirty Boots has over 100 activities listed including every adventure activity available in South Africa, Swaziland and Lesotho. From quiet peaceful hikes in the Drakensberg to Jet Flights up and down the South African coast line.
Some of the more popular adventure activities listed in Dirty Boots are: shark-cage diving, Orange River rafting, Bloukrans bungee, whale watching, deep-sea fishing, abseiling from Table Mountain, canopy tours and tandem skydiving and paragliding around South Africa.
Most adventures in South Africa can also be combined with a safari. Consider doing a walking or mountain biking safari in the Kruger National Park. Hot-air balloon safaris and elephant-back safaris are other great ways to experience our magnificent wildlife.
Things to do in the outdoors are basically what we specialize in, so get out there and get those boots dirty.
" We live in a world full of beauty, charm and adventure. There is no end to the adventures that we can have if only we seek them with our eyes open. "
